Sales Person

Results-driven sales representative sought to actively find and engage with local, regional and national account prospects for a full-service advertising agency.

The two main functions of this position are first, to develop and maintain a qualified prospect list that is mined daily to keep prospects warm and ensure the agency is top-of-mind for new opportunities with those prospects and second, understand the needs of all hot prospects and be able to effectively direct the agency in proposing solutions that meet those needs.


  • Confidently present, promote and sell the agency and its services/products to prospective customers
  • Have enough familiarity with all of the agency’s current and past work to be able to sell prospects on our capabilities from all angles (services, solutions, outcomes, industries, size, business acumen, growth-rate, product type, etc.)
  • Establish, cultivate and maintain positive business relationships
  • Reach out to leads through cold calling
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the market’s potential and track sales
  • Supply management with reports on market dynamics, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services
  • Keep abreast of sales best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback


  • Proven work experience as a sales representative in some aspect of the mass communications field
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Familiarity with CRM best practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
